Our Story

LEVELUP Women Entrepreneur Residency program is an outgrowth of the already successful Women Entrepreneur Excellence mentoring, course and certification program. Since the launch of C2 Your Health Women’s Initiative Inc. 6 years ago we have been told by many community organizations black & brown women from low-income neighborhoods and domestic violence environments are “not a real business” owners, not worthy of help and this perception continues today. 

We know this to be true because at startup and throughout the business growth of these women' entrepreneurs support was not available due to the business landscape community perception and female bias towards black and brown women from low-income neighborhoods and domestic violence enviornments. These challenges are causing delays in access to entrepreneur business development, support and resources.

Bridging the Gap for Women

  • Community and gender bias prevent aspiring and struggling women entrepreneurs of color from building a successful business due to a lack access to mentorship opportunities, business resources, influential connections and tools they need to build a resilient business.

  • Create an entrepreneur residency program building on the current success of C2 Your Health Women’s Initiative Inc. or similar mentoring organizations to match experienced successful entrepreneurs to inexperienced entrepreneurs. This provides a bridge to create increased credibility giving the newer entrepreneurs a competitive edge.

  • Establish an entrepreneur mentoring match program impacts female and community bias by improving prestige, status, connections to experienced established influential community entrepreneurs. This lending of creditability, perceptions, and overall judgements.

  • This 12-month mentor – mentee relationship connection to business community influencers, networks, resources and tool results in increased confidence and business credibility, positively impacting women entrepreneur business success and economic footprint.
